The Detroit Lions, minus an injured Matthew Stafford, were screwed as well as you can be screwed today by the refs.

if i understand what the expert ref was saying about the "process", the process was complete when his butt hit the ground....on any other place of the field, the initial ground contact would supercede any event taking place afterwards...if the initial ground contact had been simultaneous with the ball popping out of his hand then the call would have been correct...but that wasn't the case.
One loss on the season and now you're pulling for GT Calvin Johnson???????
