More from the Stafford / Moreno press conference

Technical difficulties here in the home office have delayed our team coverage, but LIABC (Lucid Idiocy Athens Bureau Chief) Brian Huff was at todays Stafford/Moreno "Death to the 2009 Season" press conference.

He was struck by something that David Hale, and I'm sure the rest of the press corps, notes in his report: That Moreno never even looked into where he'd be drafted.

He apparently forgot to submit his paperwork to the NFL and didn't really talk to anyone to get a sense of his draft value.

So incredulous was the press corps, Huff said, that "they asked him like three times."

No kidding. But that's how Superman rolls.

Death to the 2009 Season

Come on, Stafford was the third best of our last three QB's. (Joe T doesn't count)

I'm not saying he wasn't great, isn't the most talented, can't make throws that no one else can.
2008: three int's against Fl (the first one was the death knell), Panicked against Bama, It would be nice to have that touchdown back he threw to GT in the first half.

How much does the Athens correspondent get paid?

Tongue in cheek Dan-o. I think Joey C. will be just fine.

No word on whether he wears a leather jacket, though.

Huff gets paid entirely in commemerative Obama presidential coins.

The 'Doomsday Defense' of 2009 will be able to win about 4 or 5 games by themselves...I mean Reshad Jones couldn't tackle any more poorly, could he?
